Nate & Nithya's eSession

First of all welcome to my new blog! I’m so excited to be working with the guys at Flosites who put this together. They were tremendously patient in making this transition a smooth one. Not only did I get a new blog, but they also imported ALL of my content from Xanga so that I no longer have to reference back to my previous content! Thanks guys! :)

Nate & Nithya met during college while serving together at campus ministry together at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. They are getting married together in August and I am so looking forward to their wedding. Lately I’ve been shooting lot of photographers’ weddings and Nate is another one that fall in that category. It is always an honor to be trusted and commissioned by another photographer to document their important day. During the shoot, it was so evident that they loved and adored each other. They didn’t have to say a word. You can see it in their eyes and in their body language!

This session was also special because Nate wanted me to document him popping the big question to her and surprising her with an esession afterwards! So i got my sniper lens ready (300mm f2.8L) and staked out at the location that he was going to propose to Nithya. Funny thing happened while I was waiting for them. A few couples were walking by and asked me what I was doing hiding behind the bushes. I explained to them that I was hiding out to document the proposal and immediately they started asking for my business cards! I’ve never been asked for a referral during a stake out!

Any ways, I hope you guys enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed photographing them. Here’s to a new beginning!

He simply asked and she gladly said ‘YES!’

Then afterwards they hugged for a long, long, long time. :)

They wanted to pray before they began their esession. :)

He loved her and she adored him!

We ran into some college friends while photographing on the quad – so we incorporated them in to the shoot! Good times!

Hope you guys enjoy the images. I’d love to hear your feedback about this and my new blog website. Thanks everyone!
