FREEDOM & SLUMBER
Check out some of my photos from David Jay’s Freedom & Slumber workshop. It’s been a blast hanging out with some photographers from all over the country learning from not just David but from one another.

I’m back out in San Francisco this weekend to shoot an engagement session for a couple who will be getting married in April. I thought this might be good time to showcase a photoshoot I did last time I was out here. I had an great photoshoot session with Ken & Crystelle who are beautiful people inside and out. They are not engaged so this wouldn’t be categorized as an engagement session.

My friend Gustavo assisted me with the show and Anton Lorimer came to shoot a video for me that’s in currently the works.

MASTER YOUR FLASH WORKSHOP W/ BOB DAVIS
I know most of us struggle with one thing: Lighting. And I couldn’t think of anyone better to learn from than Bob Davis regarding lighting. Last I talked to him, there was only few more spots so if you are interested, sign up. I will be there!

It was an amazing experience seeing all the couples with their guards down being open and vulnerable with one another. WPPI Master Class

David is from Illinois and Anita is from California. But it was at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor that they met and fell in love. So it only made sense to go back to where things originally started to do their engagement session. They will be getting married in California this summer and I’m looking forward to this one. I’m looking forward to it because David is my little cousin and all my family members will be at this wedding. We were both initially nervous about whether of they one of us will be awkward during this session – but to my surprise, everything went well. Big thanks to my friend Dustin Francis for coming out and assisting me for the shoot.
