Wow, it was an unforgettable weekend down here. I knew it was going to be good times down here wrapping up my 2008 wedding season shooting the wedding with Tomas Flint helping me out, but some surprises were in store. I ran into couple of my good friends Amer Delic and Uncle Ray. Met another cool photographer name Ariel through Uncle Ray. We all had a great time hanging out together.

The view from the couple’s suite was absolutely stunning. You can get an idea of what the Paradise Island looks like.

It was a small but a perfect one by the beach. You can experience the love that this couple felt for each other and their close friends and family members.

The flower girls were absolutely adorable!

Ceremony ended just before sunset so we were able to capture some cool shots using the sunlight

Private reception dinner was in an underground room next to a giant acquarium

How many couples can say that a giant manta ray swam by their cake?

I’ll post more wedding photos once I catch up with others. :-)

We also got to spend some time relaxing and doing the touristy things. Here’s Kelli, Tomas & I soaking up the sun shopping at the straw market. I was able to get some major bargains for all of us.

I played around with delayed shutter effects and took some fun landscape shots. Hope you guys enjoy them.

This is how they decorate Christmas down here. Just picture listening to your favorite Christmas music except it’s in reggae/caribbean rhythm.

That’s it for now. Tomorrow I go back to the cold weather in Chicago. As much as I dread it, Chicago is my home and I actually miss the cold weather. Look forward to going back and catching up on all my work! :)
