Just when I thought you couldn’t top off the workshop that I attended on Monday, Tuesday rolled around and it was even better. I had an opportunity to photograph a couple from San Francisco. They used to live in Chicago but recently moved out to this area. Ken is a good friend of mine from college and I just met Crystelle that day. I knew she was gorgeous from the photos I’ve seen of her but she was prettier in real life! We spent the late afternoon strolling through the heart of San Francisco and shot some awesome photos. My friend/talented photographer Gustavo was there with me to help capture some different angles and help me out with various things. Anton Lorimer from Lorimerworks was there to help me capture some footage for my upcoming promo video which I am really stoked about.

I will post more images from this event later on but I wanted leave you with few teasers to wet your appetite. I am gearing up for a super wedding weekend with San Francisco’s top destination wedding photographer Mr. Gene Higa. Earlier on, I contacted him to see if I can second shoot one wedding for him and he replied “What about three?” So I’m really excited about this opportunity!

Just playing around with some textures by Jesh De Rox. I love his style and I try to incorporate a few in my portfolio when I feel like the image/mood is captured right.

CANON 5D Mark II

Canon just released a new camera to replace the current 5d. I know it’s got lot of bells and whistles but did you know that this comes with HD video recording capability? If you think this is not that big of a deal, think again. It is going to blow away the competition and revolutionize the way we do our business. Check out this video made by Vincent Laforet. It was recorded with the new 5d in HD. If you can imagine the possibility of this, it will BLOW your mind. It’s a must see!
