Ceremony: Los Altos United Methodist Church – Los Altos, CA
Reception: Garden Court Hotel – Palo Alto, CA

I met David & Janise at the wedding I shot back in October of 2007 in the Bahamas. I knew they were going to be a fun couple so I was stoked when they asked me to come out for their wedding in San Francisco. I made it a week long trip (you guys probably saw my photos from there few entries back) and spent some time throughout the week doing their engagement session and getting to know their wedding party & family members. We had so much fun at their wedding. I still think about it and I keep hearing Janise’s contagious laugh and David’s warm friendly smile. Janis was my third bride that attended Wellesley College. I seem to have that connection going here? :)

Thanks so much guys for a great weekend out there. Look forward to spending more time together in the future!

Here are some images captured from their wedding:

UPDATE:
This is just a quick update to give a shout out to couple of folks. Happy birthday Uncle Mike & Al Kim. They were both born on Cinco de Mayo and both turned 40 today. I’m thankful for these guys in my life. Mike has blog & facebook so go there and leave him a fun note. My other friend Al, prefers to live in a cave away from the cyber world so if you spot him out in public, then you can greet him in person. :) Good times!

END UPDATE

PHOTOSHOOT WITH KELLY CAMPBELL

In my previous post (Joe & Yervant), I briefly mentioned about a model named Kelly Campbell. She works closely with our friend Ed Weiland and came by that day to model for Joe & Yervant’s live shooting demonstration. While everyone was in class attending the seminar, I decided to play hookie and asked Kelly if I could photograph her getting ready – pretty much like the preparation photos on a typical wedding day. She gladly obliged and got some really cool shots of her. She is currently unmarried but I bet you her boyfriend is going to feel the pressure after seeing these photos to propose soon! Afterwards, Morgan Matters, Jen Kroll, Bob Davis & I able to pull her aside and do a quick photoshoot before Joe & Yervant took her away. Here are some images from that quick shoot.

All the photos you see here were shot with my Mark 1d III. I used 24-70mm f2.8L lense 95% of the time and used my 85mm f1.2L lens for the rest. Let me know what you guys think.

This is one of my favorite shot from the shoot. Straight out of the camera – no photoshop! Gotta love that 85mm 1.2!

Thanks Kelly! Look forward to working with you again!
