Brian & Annabelle were friends at the University of Illinois but he never mustered enough courage to ask her out. Few years later he ran into her again at a ski resort – but this time he wasn’t going to make the same mistake. From then on, they became good friends and their relationship continued to grow. I love watching them interact with each other. Annabelle’s soft & tender personality compliment Brian’s fun & goofy side. I had a blast spending the afternoon with them. They will be getting married next May and I cannot wait to capture that day for them.

:::::: UPDATE: GO ILLINI! ::::::

Big congratulations to Coach Ron Zook and his staff for the success this year. Coach Pete Carroll & the USC Trojans are in for a shock when the Illini goes to pounce them in their own territory just like we did to OSU!
:::: END UPDATE ::::::

This photo I took of the Father of the Bride shows my feeling of satisfaction. YEAH! Yesterday’s wedding was my last wedding of the year and I am so excited. Whew, it has been an incredible year – 35 weddings + 20 special events. Who knew photography business could be this promising?! With no more shooting out of the way, I can focus on wrapping up this year by finishing up all the photos and looking forward to next year.

Thanks to everyone that’s been following my blog and I promise that next year will be even bigger than the one before. I can’t wait to share what’s ahead.

I finished the year of wedding photos last night with a BANG. Not only did I shoot a fabulous wedding, I got to partner with California’s finest, Blake Schwendimann and had the pleasure of working with a fabulous wedding consultant, Christine Stone & her staff.

The bride (Jessica) was spectacular:

The groom (Ryan) wasn’t too shabby either:

Their wedding theme was “Burberry” & took place at the Westin Hotel in Lombard, IL.

I will post more photos when I am done with this wedding. For now, I will kick back and enjoy the day. :-)

By the way, I love reading comments. I’m not afraid to admit it. :-) I read every single one of them and I get pumped by your comments. Please take a moment to leave one and I promise to respond back to every single one!

Have a great Lord’s Day everyone & Go Illini! :-)
