During my two week trip, I got to attend one of my good friend’s wedding out in the east coast. James and I were roommates for three years in college so we had lot of memories together. It was sad as we parted our ways after college but I believe that sometimes being apart tests the bond and strength of a true friendship. Whenever we get together I feel like we pick up right where we left off.
This time, I wore the hat of being the “uncle bob.” The couple decided to hire another photographer because he wanted me to just enjoy the wedding. But that’s like telling a bird not to fly and just enjoy the view.
James is a special friend of mine so I decided to snap a few photos for him. As my friend/mentor Becker describes it, I became “the family member with a fancy camera” at this wedding.
The celebration took place at the Pleasantdale Chateau. This beautiful mansion is a hidden gem located in the heart of West Orange, NJ.

A quick rehearsal before the real thing…

The bride looked graceful and elegant decorated in this gorgeous dress designed by Vera Wang
James couldn’t keep his eyes off her

The ceremony center quickly transformed into the reception hall while the guests mingled outside

John and Semi – can’t wait to cover their wedding in June out in Philly!

Even though I had just met Grace, it didn’t take me long at all to figure out that they were perfect for each other. Congratulations guys!
