SAP Open – San Jose, CA
Part of the reason for my trip to SF/San Jose was also for work. I got to shoot at SAP Open Tennis Tournament in San Jose. For the pro players, this is one of the main circuit tours that they play in hopes to earn money as well as points to get entered in the main grand slam event (French, Wimbledon, US Open and Australian). Some of the top world players were there playing. Because of my limited time at the city, I was able to cover 3 players: Andy Roddick, James Blake and Amer Delic (ranked #4, #6, and #87 in the world). I can’t post too many photos but here’s just a few to give you an idea of what goes on there.

USTA/ITA National Indoors – Chicago, IL

Top 16 college teams gathered under one roof at the Midtown Tennis Club to compete for the coveted national title. I’m shooting here as the main photographer so I can’t post any pictures on this blog. However, you can check out some of the photos at the site below (click on the photo gallery once you are there). If you live near the city, you should definitely come and check out this event. You’ll see some of the top players in the country in action! Yesterday, Diane Burns, news anchor of CBS stopped by.
