Ever since I picked up wedding photography, the #1 question I’ve been asked by everyone is: “Kenny, who is going to photograph YOUR wedding?”

I’ve always joked around telling people that I’ll do it myself by setting up all these cameras with tripod triggering the camera w/ remote control, etc. But in all honesty, my real answer to that question is: I’m not all that concerned about that right now.:) More than worrying about who’s going to be my photographer, I first need to figure out who is going to marry me! First things first, right?

So I have a question for all the married couples out there (I guess this can be opened to everyone since I’m posting it on xanga):

How did you know He or She was the one for you?

We had an adventure finding spots to shoot photos in Urbana. To our surprise, we discovered some neat places (hidden gem locations) to do the shoot. Congratulations Rob & Shannon!

Congratulations to my friend Amer Delic, the former Illini singles champion for winning the recent USTA challenger right here in Champaign IL. He is the first Illinois graduate to win the singles title in this tournament. He’s also reached the final round 6 out of 9 past tournaments. This win boosted his ATP ranking all the way up to 96 in the world. If you keep up with pro tennis, you would know that being top 100 is a prestigious status and also guarantees you an entry into all grand slam events.

Here are just a few photos that I got to snap as I witnessed him dismantle all of his opponents last week.

Looking forward to shooting their wedding in Detroit, Michigan next year. Congratulations! By the way, Champaign is so quiet now that [...]
